I Don’t Want a Cookie Cutter Bouquet – How Can I Make Mine Unique?
The Wedding Feather E-Course shows you the DESIGN FUNDAMENTALS for the piece, whether it is a diy bouquet, feather flower or feather accessory. The design fundamentals are the most important part of your project. It’s like building a house, you need to know that your foundation is solid and that your roof won’t cave in before you start picking out paint colors and bringing in furniture. Same applies to all of the project tutorials in this e-course!
After learning the basic fundamentals of how to assemble your feathery creation, the fun can begin. You can play with picking out different colors of feathers, or even hand dying them to create a custom color. You can also shop for unique vintage pieces such as brooches or old earrings to add some unique bouquet jewelry to your design. Playing with extras is fun and what’s it’s all about! You can take scraps from your bridesmaid dresses to make rosettes to add to your bouquet, or make hair accessories for them!
How Easy Are The Tutorials To Follow?
Each tutorial is shown from beginning to end, step by step. I am there in the video creating the bouquet along side of you. All tutorials can be done by a beginner crafter. Like anything, it might take a little practice to get the hang of things so my suggestion is to maybe try making some of the feather flowers or fundamental designs for your specific tutorial first before doing it on your actual piece. Most everything that is done though can be corrected and it is ok to make mistakes. As Bob Ross famously says, “We don’t make mistakes, just happy little accidents.” Many of the designs I even made happened by experimentation and accidents. It’s fun to play. Don’t take yourself seriously and let your creativity and imagination run wild. Anyone can do this!
